Dah lama tak update. Pagi tadi masa tengah berak.. macam biasa masa tu lah masa paling syok baca buku.. Aku masih lagi tak habis-habis baca buku The Invention of Russia itu..
The author nyebut tentang Yevgeny Primakov (an Arabist) yang jadi Russian Premier dari 1998 sampai 1999.. Ini waktu Yeltsin sebagai presiden... ini pre-Putin era.
Syok aku membaca pasal beliau.. dia ni tak wat apa-apa pun towards Russian economy.. memang ikut liberal or conservative nye strategy... which tak buat apa-apa. Tak buat apa-apa is the best medicine for a crisis in economy. Tengok aje... ikut hukum pasar... demand & supply...
Primakov sekadar beretorik saja.. which really helped Yeltsin Administration.. One of the best rhetoric by him is..... "Don't worry, the experiments and the turbulence are over." Ostrovsky (2015:249).
