Orang-orang business yang emerged dari the rubble of Soviet economy masa era Gorbachev tu yang mikir mereka hebat or the champs of capitalism tu sebenaunya adalah mangsa Soviet propaganda and ideology that portrayed capitalism not as a set of rules and ethics based on the ideas of honest competition and fair play... mereka menengok capitalism seabagi a cut-throat cynical system where craftiness and ruthlessness were more important than integrity... Dia nambah lagi... capitalism menurut pemahaman business people of Russia masa zaman tu ialah where everyone screws each other and where money is the only arbiter of success.

Kenapa jadi macam tu??? Katanya.. Russian capitalism had nothing to do with Weber's Protestant ethics.... It was not built on a centuries-long tradition of private property and feudal honour and dignity.

Basically.. Soviet masa tu bereksperimen dengan capitalism... tu yang jadi begitu... orang kompius macam mana mau beraksi.. capitalism yang mereka paham adalah menurut sisi communism-socialism.. bukan dari sisi capitalism sendiri.. maksudnya mungkin itu bukan understanding.. tapi perception...

Aku ni plak... payah sangat nulis tesis ni.. agaknya sebab tradisi intelektual tu is sesuatu yang baru dalam hidup aku... or entahlah.. hmmm..

Bila aku mikir-mikir.. maka aku rasa my PhD life is comparable to my two and a half years of degree life di PPP, ITM.. sekarang INTEC, UiTM...

Masa tu yang aku tahu.. aku tak paham CGPA.. bangang sangat... sampaikan my first ever GPA was 1.87... pastu habis kat PPP dengan 2.47.. Then pergi MCC Kuantan.. habis 3rd year dengan 3.17 kalau tak silap.. then.. masa kat Drexel Uni.. habis dengam 3.67... Baru aku perasan aku nye GPA banyak berakhir dengan angka 7.. yeah.. Ill be in heaven.. seven is heaven..
